ESA CAM understands and continues to learn more about the impact this public health emergency is having on our program participants and the affordable housing community. Your health and safety remain our top priorities along with ensuring your success in the program.

To continue to recognize the importance of COVID-19 safety protocols, we rely on program participants to determine if construction activities are allowable based on the project’s jurisdiction, the property owner’s safety protocols, and if on-site work can be performed by contractors in accordance with local, state, and federal COVID-19 safety precautions. ESA CAM continues to provide accommodations to address ongoing COVID-19 challenges such as virtual audits and inspections, extended construction deadline, and several phased payment options.

ESA CAM funding remains secure for the current program year. The California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) oversees the program and authorized the current ratepayer-funded program budget.
